✧ A g e : Unknown, she’d forgotten about it (or says that she doesn’t dwell on this kind of petty matter.) Ask and she’ll answer 24.
✧ B i r t h d a y : May 9th (Taurus)
(She’d forgotten her real birthday date as she didn’t celebrate it ever since she was on the roads, but remembers that she’s a Taurus hence she came up with a random Taurus date when signing up for the job. Again, a petty matter to her)

✧ S p e c i e s : Part siren (but she’s only aware that she isn’t human. Though she’ll still answer ’human’ when asked)
✧ H e i g h t / W e i g h t : 5’4” || 117 lbs
✧ A p p e a r a n c e :
- Yulia obviously doesn’t have the most feminine features, being able to pass as both a male and a female. She’ll laugh if you are confused about her gender. Plus her clothes aren’t helping at all.
- Light blue eyes, like blue topaz. (same as Ciaran’s) Copper blonde hair. (Or brown with a hint of orange)
- Slightly toned, with a rounder/wide ribcage.
- Has her hair up most of the time, and it’s usually a little messy with loose strands sticking out. Fluffy ponytail.
- Usually seen dressing in earthly and muted colors.
- Always has her bag (the one around her waist) with her. Backpack is stowed away somewhere.
- Wears a silver ring on her left pinky. No sentimental value just something she bought from one of the towns she visited. The one given by her late husband was worn on a silver chain around her neck, usually covered by her clothes.
- Simple silver hoop earrings on both ears.

(familiar with Equine and Canine, with decent knowledge for Felines. More than willing to take care of other animals as well)

✧ P e r s o n a l i t y :
Despite her age and her travels, Yulia slowly reverted back to her more youthful personality, simply because it makes her life easier, and more convincing for the age of her appearance. She usually gives off a rather welcoming air, sometimes with a false sense of outgoingness, but it doesn’t take very long to discover that it isn’t the case. It’s just something she shows to those she meets for the first time (and those that doesn’t already give her a negative vibe). She doesn’t dislike people, but the kind who fares better in smaller groups and less people to talk to. A backstage worker than one who stands under the spotlight. Enjoys personal time where she’s alone or with her animals. In a larger group, she prefers to be the observer than the speaker, or she might leave the group if nothing interest her, and search for a peaceful spot to rest.

Forward : She prefers speaking her mind, be it compliments, voicing a fact, or pointing out good / bad things / behavior. It rarely bothers her to praise someone’s appearance or achievements. She is also frank to those whom she dislikes. Expect a small argument to spark from there. If provoked or shown opportunity, she will lash out with words far from sugar coated. The most common being labeling you with animal names. (Don’t be too happy if she dubs you a rabbit, it means you are one who indulges in socialization and will die if left alone for too long. Not to mention vulnerable and pretty much useless except for being a toy.) Won’t hesitate to talk back even if you’re her superior so long as she thinks that you’re in the wrong.

Easygoing : This is easier seen in a one on one interaction, and if she doesn’t already have a negative impression of you. The girl will include you into whatever she was doing (so long as it isn’t extremely dangerous, or a personal matter) Some finds her easy to talk to, if she doesn’t fall into one of her silent-relaxed mode and simply lie on the grass and stare at the sky. Laughter is common once she’s comfortable around you. Also has a bad habit of teasing the moment she finds out what makes you fluster, and will probably give you a bear hug afterwards.

Headstrong : Most of the time there’s no ill intention in her choices (at least not that she’s aware of) but sometimes they are just not the best decisions and it will directly or indirectly creates trouble to those around her. It takes quite a bit to fix this side of her, usually it requires failure on her part and scolding and/or physical pain from people she cares about. Emotional pain is always the most effective, though.

Penny-pinching : Something she picked up during her travelling days. She rarely spends money on anything other than the necessary, except when she succumbs to the temptation of sweets and treats. She is generous when it comes to spending for animals, though, be it feeding strays or grooming her pet.

Caring : Mostly towards the animals, and people closer to her. She fusses around the animals like a doting mother hen, especially Ciaran, which is like a big baby to her. Sometimes it reaches the point of over protectiveness.

Possessive : Personal belongings aside, Yulia gets attached to people she’d opened up to. And once she’s attached it isn’t that easy to peel her off. Attention seeking from those that she’s fond of is perhaps one of her prominent negative traits. Hence she finds animals being better company than people as she dislike being emotional. She doesn't have any friend due to her lifestyle, and didn't bother to make any except for benefit purposes.

✧ H i s t o r y :
Summary: Yulia Thrust came from a place where unicorns and griffins were uncommon. She and her father worked in the palace, taking care of these creatures kept by the royal family. Her voice had a kind of charm to it, which help bridged a relation between the fourth prince and herself, with the former dressing up as an errand boy and both became friends. But such a relation between a prince and a lowly castle worker was forbidden, let alone what seemed like romance in the eyes of the prince’s fiance. The Thrust family was sentenced to a public execution, being burned to death. Yulia refused to submit to death while she was innocent, and subconsciously utilized the magic in her voice, commanding one of the carriage unicorns to free her. She fled from the city.

During her travels, the unicorn mare left for a period of time, and returned with a foal. Decades later, she fell in love with a human man in a village where she found temporary jobs to earn more travelling expenses. The couple’s dream for making a family was crushed when her husband died in a carriage accident, along with her unborn child. Yulia once again returned to travelling after she’d recovered, until she came across Cirque des Reves that was hiring for certain job positions. With a little curiosity, interest for the animal keeper job, and the hope that her unicorn companion didn’t have to live with avoiding human eyes again.

(The charming effect of her voice has nothing to do with how nice her voice actually sounds. Just as a love potion will take effect no matter how horrible the potion tastes. She now has better control of the magic in her voice than before, though she rarely use it on human, unless unintentionally. But it works wonders on animals.)

✧ M I S C / O t h e r I n f o r m a t i o n:
- More than a century ago, someone from her distant ancestors once married a siren, and created offsprings of siren and human. However, after many generations the siren blood thinned and soon the folks were just like any ordinary human, and the siren blood line was forgotten. To some it became a legend, while others didn’t bother to pass it down. Yulia is currently the only known descendant that inherited a small amount of the siren’s traits: her voice (though not as powerful as a real siren’s) and her longevity.
- She is only aware that she isn’t human, when a decade passed and she hardly seem to age for more than a year or two. But she has no idea what she is, exactly, and has no means to find out seeing that the only family she knows of are now a pile of ash. She tried not to pay too much heed to it, introduced herself as human, and never stay in a single place long enough for people to notice anything odd about her.
- The slowing of her aging is a gradual progress hence she didn’t notice it until she left her hometown for almost a decade.
- She half convinced herself that she was adopted.
- Even though it’s now a distant memory, Yulia still has an underlying dislike for flames and fiery colors.
- There are faint burnt scars on her feet earned during her public 'execution'. Faded throughout the decades so these are what that’ll follow her the rest of her life.
- The loss of her husband struck her harder than the lost of her child. Because she can’t miss someone that she’d never seen before. Besides, she wasn’t one cut out to be a mother at that time.
- Knows basic self defense, and her choice of masculine attire comes from her travelling days. It is dangerous to travel alone for a female even if you have an over protective mare.
- She reeks of animal smells, most prominently the smell of her unicorn as she loves to snuggle up to him for warmth.
- If she isn’t occupied, she’ll probably be spending time and playing with the animals (with permission to let them out of confinements, of course) Or taking a walk with Ciaran.
-Things in her bag: Treats for Ciaran, other food for whatever animal(s) she is tending to at that time, grooming tools, basic animal medicines for minor wounds (cuts and etc)
- Prefers sleeping with Ciaran, no matter inside or outside her tent.
- Will have lower abdominal pain if she overwork herself, it doesn’t happen frequently so don’t worry.

✧ Ciaran the Unicorn : [note that Yulia never refer to him as an ‘it’]
- Pronounced as ‘kearon’, ‘kear’ rhymes with ‘ear’. It means ‘little dark one’.
- A stallion in his prime age. Similar build to that of a Friesian horse, black coat that shines auburn under direct sunlight and feathered lower limbs. Stands about 5’3” at the withers (or shoulders).
- Offspring of the black unicorn mare that saved Yulia from being burned alive.
- Many might be fooled by his dark coat and intimidating appearance, but his temperament is almost a complete opposite of his look.
- The beast is a docile and obedient creature, shy to stranger, nervous yet curious to new environments.
- You might even see him prancing happily around Yulia. In a way, she is his parent.
- He’ll display signs of distress when a dog barks at him, but he is still more comfortable around animals than with humans. Because Yulia only allowed him to watch humans from afar. In the past he even ran away from overly enthusiastic children that were chasing him to play with him.
- Follows Yulia almost everywhere unless being told to stay put. Yulia puts a halter on him whenever she brings him to new places or meeting new people, in case he freaks out and runs off.
- The way he expresses himself is more human than ordinary horses due to the fact that unicorns have higher intelligence and Ciaran is exposed to Yulia ever since he was a foal.
- Ciaran is more of a strength built than for speed, like his mother.
- If provoked by other animals, he is usually the one who backs down. But if Yulia is harmed, he’ll be hostile. Although it is still possible to scare him off...
- No he’s not magical, no he doesn’t poop rainbows either. He’s just an ordinary horse with an extra horn and slightly more intelligent.
